OhanaLink Technologies Names 5-Member Board

OhanaLink Technologies has named its five-member board of directors, a group of shareholders and industry leaders.
Members of the board will serve as advisors to the executive team as the company continues to expand its offerings using its proprietary mobile technology platform that connects and supports users.
“We are gratified to have the level of expertise represented on our board,” said Kara Wasser, OhanaLink founder and CEO. “We will look to the members of our board to utilize their business expertise to provide counsel on our overall strategic vision as our company is poised to experience rapid growth across the country.”
OhanaLink is a communication app that allows families to more easily share health-care information during emergencies and events.
Joining the board are:

Karen Barrow, a consultant, group purchasing organization leader and registered nurse with more than 30 years of comprehensive health-care supply chain expertise. She has led, developed and implemented contracts and projects aimed at improving supply and device management. She holds a master’s degree in health-care administration from St. Francis University.

Laura Blaire, a chief operating officer for a wealth management company, brings more than 25 years of experience in operations management, talent acquisition and retention, and Securities and Exchange Commission compliance. She received her bachelor’s degree from Chatham College, earned her master’s degree in management with a concentration in leadership at The American College and is an investment adviser certified compliance professional.

John Frangakis is both a successful entrepreneur and experienced CEO with a demonstrated history in the packaging and containers and information technology industries. A graduate of the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania and where he also received his master’s in business administration from the University of Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business. In addition, he was awarded an honorary doctor of science from Thiel College in Greenville, Pa., in recognition of his commitment to academic achievement.

Hugh Greene was CEO of a Jacksonville health system for 20 years, and was named one of 12 “Ultimate CEOs” by the Jacksonville Business Journal and inducted into the First Coast Business Hall of Fame. He served on several boards and committees including the University of North Florida, the United Way of Northeast Florida and the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. As chairman of the Sulzbacher Center Board, he received the Excellence in Healthcare Award for his efforts in improving health care for the homeless. Green serves on several private equity boards and holds a master’s degree in health administration from the Medical College of Virginia and a master’s degree of divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky.

Scott Runyan has nearly 30 years’ experience in public accounting and business consulting services, with expertise in corporate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. He has worked with clients in several industries including manufacturing and distribution, and concentrated specifically on financial institutions for the past 10 years. He is a certified public accountant and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio State University.
